The MAPS Fellowship
|
The level of mastery that MAPS fellows (FMAPS) achieve in the field of complex pediatric conditions means that they are among the best prepared practitioners in this field, and patients will be assured of the care provided.
The five directives of MAPS FellowshipThe MAPS Education ProgramThe MAPS program has been developed by Dan Rossignol MD with input from leading physicians, scientists, researchers, and experts in the fields of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Environmental Medicine, Gastrointestinal abnormalities, Pediatrics, Neurological Disorders, Genetics, Nutrition, and Mitochondrial issues.
Under the direction of Dr. Rossignol, MAPS has developed a systematic, multi-level course curriculum, designed to address a breadth of conditions, their documented treatments, the pros and cons of therapies (both studied and/or commonly used) and to explore and evaluate the continually emerging research. The courses range from common pediatric conditions, to advanced immunological dysfunctions, and also address charting “best practices” and vital business practices. |
More than a lecture series
Members can choose to be teamed up with a mentor to aid in obtaining fellowship, answer questions, and collaborate as needed. The MAPS curriculum includes classes on practice management, as well as proper charting and documentation processes that help MAPS members and their practice. Because members are taught in delivering a systematic, medically sound methodology, they may qualify for reduced-rate malpractice insurance through MAPS. MAPS teaches practitioners how to present a program of care to patients in a manageable and affordable package. |
