With over 30 plus years as practicine pediatrician Dr. Saba has been caring for infants to adulthood in an integrative wholistic approach throughout her career. Her initial exposure to pediatric care was as the senior clinical pharmacist in the PICU at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore Maryland. Her career then took her to Squibb Pharmaceuticals to develop research protocols regarding captopril where the antigiotensin system was being developed and understood, little did she know then that this system with ACE receptors would be a target of the spike protein from covid. She entered Medical School in 1988 and began her pediatric residency at Georgetown Medical Center in DC and did a one year fellowship in Pharmacology studing beta receptor down regulation to beta agonist in sub population of pts who were not responding to albuterol for their asthma. She entered private practice full time in 1996 and solo practice in 2000 where she continues to see pts in her clinic in addition to teaching medical students.
