Eboni Cornish, MD

Dr. Cornish, a trusted physician, offers integrative medicine services to a global patient base. Specializing in functional medicine, neurological imbalances, brain imaging, autoimmune diseases, Lyme disease, environmental toxicity, genetic disorders, gut imbalances, chronic infections, and mold illness, among other chronic conditions. She employs a comprehensive approach to identify the root causes of health issues within the body’s various biological systems. Dr. Cornish’s treatment philosophy is integrative and evidence-based.

At Amen Clinics, she has played a pivotal role in developing the Neuroinflammatory Intensive program, a two-week inpatient program addressing neurological complications of Lyme disease and other chronic inflammatory conditions.

Amen Clinics’ team adopts an innovative brain-body approach for diagnosing and planning treatment for emotional, behavioral, learning, cognitive, and autoimmune diseases in individuals of all ages. They are also experts in brain SPECT scan analysis.

Dr. Cornish’s educational journey includes honors at Brown University for her undergraduate studies and earning her medical degree (M.D.) from Brown University Medical School. She further honed her skills through a family medicine residency at Georgetown University.

In 2003, as a Howard Hughes Medical Fellow, she conducted translational research at the National Human Genome Research Institute NIH, working under the guidance of Francis Collins, M.D., Ph.D. Currently serving as the treasurer of the board for the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society, Dr. Cornish is also a proud member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM) and the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM).

Recognized as an authority in her field, Dr. Cornish was awarded Northern Virginia’s Top Doctor for family practice in 2021 and 2022. Additionally, she has been featured by Continental Who’s Who as an Exceptional Woman in Healthcare, acknowledging her professional excellence at Amen Clinics.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Cornish is passionate about education, regularly conducting webinars to inspire medical professionals to better understand functional medicine. Dr. Cornish aspires to contribute to research on Alzheimer’s, Lyme Disease, and pediatric autoimmune diseases and has plans to write a book detailing her research and its application in her practice.
