Dr. Saima Khan is a board-certified pediatrician, medical toxicologist, and functional and integrative medicine physician with over 28 years of clinical experience. Her personal health journey profoundly transformed her medical approach—after being diagnosed with narcolepsy and finding no relief through conventional treatments, she sought out and uncovered root causes including neuroinflammation and autoimmunity with underlying root causes such as mold illness, Lyme disease and co-infections, chronic SIBO and MCAS.
Dr. Khan earned her medical degree from Aga Khan University, often regarded as the “Harvard of Pakistan.” She completed her Pediatric Residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and a Medical Toxicology Fellowship at Wayne State University. She is certified in Functional Medicine by the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) and is a Fellow of MedMAPS. She has advanced training from the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) and the Lyme Disease Practitioner Certification (LDPC) program.
As the founder of Rebalance Family Health, a Florida-based virtual practice, Dr. Khan specializes in complex chronic illnesses, guiding patients toward healing by addressing root causes and restoring balance.
