As a parent, you want real answers and real solutions for your child. Maybe you've been told "the tests are normal," or felt brushed off when your instincts said something was wrong. I understand how frustrating and exhausting that is.

My first commitment is to listen — to you and to your child's story — and to take your concerns seriously.
My mission is to help uncover the real reasons behind your child’s symptoms, restore hope, and build a plan that supports long-term health and quality of life.

How I Can Help Your Child:
I partner with parents of children who have chronic or complex conditions, including:
- Autism spectrum disorders and ADHD
- Anxiety, depression, OCD, and PTSD
- Developmental and learning challenges
- Neurological and autoimmune conditions.

I focus on identifying and addressing metabolic and physiological imbalances that can influence behavior, learning, and development, including:
- Nutrition and mitochondrial function
- Inflammation and gastrointestinal health
- Toxins and immune dysregulation
- Genetic variants and infectious contributors
- Other related factors.

While I don’t make psychiatric diagnoses — that is the role of psychiatrists and psychologists —
I focus on uncovering and addressing the underlying biological contributors that can influence behavior, learning, and development.

My Approach:
I use advanced functional and genomic testing — such as organic acid tests, hormone and neurotransmitter panels, and microbiome analysis — to uncover imbalances that standard testing often misses.

I then partner with you to design a personalized plan. This may include targeted nutrition, supplements, homeopathy, neurofeedback, bio-identical hormone support, and, when appropriate, conventional medications. Each plan is built to relieve symptoms while addressing the root causes that stand in the way of your child’s health and development.

Care with me is an iterative, data-guided process:
1. We begin with a detailed history and your family's goals
2. I propose one or more next best steps, such as a test or targeted intervention
3. Together, we decide how to proceed
4. We measure, adjust, and refine:
- If something helps, we keep it and build on it
- If it doesn't help or causes issues, we stop it and re-evaluate
- If results point to new directions, we explore them together.

This cycle repeats over time, creating a care plan that adapts to your child's needs and moves steadily toward the best possible outcomes.

Why Parents Choose Me:
Parents often tell me they value my thoroughness, persistence, and clear explanations.
I don’t stop at "good enough" - I keep looking until we find meaningful answers.

I bring the rigor of science together with the compassion of naturopathic care. My role is to listen, investigate, and partner with you so your child has the best chance to thrive.

What Gives Me Authority:
I bring a unique blend of engineering precision and medical expertise:
- PhD in Organic Chemistry (University of Tennessee), with research focused on computer modeling of complex nonlinear thermodynamic systems
- Former Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Georgia
- Industry experience as a software engineer with major firms including Intel, Motorola, and Medtronic
- Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (now Sonoran University) in Arizona

This path gives me both the rigor of a scientist and the perspective of a physician who listens. I use both to help families facing complex medical challenges.

How I Roll:
My practice is intentionally lean and patient-focused. By working outside the limits of insurance and using telemedicine to reduce overhead, I’m able to provide you with the best value. For general healthcare needs, I encourage you to continue with your high-volume, insurance-based providers, while I focus on advanced diagnostics and personalized strategies that help your child thrive.

Because no two children are alike, I use a modular, package-based model of care. Structured mini-packages - such as Brain Folate Deficiency or OAT+AA+NT - combine into a personalized roadmap. This approach provides clarity and predictability while keeping the flexibility needed to meet each child's unique needs.
