At Freeland Pediatrics, our goal is to identify the root cause of each child's health concerns, whether they have food sensitivities/allergies, neurobehavioral concerns, imbalances in the gut, toxic environmental exposures, nutritional deficiencies, genetic factors or socio-emotional stressors. We know that each child's manifestation of wellness or illness is caused by the unique way in which their individual biochemical and genetic makeup interacts with everything that they are exposed to on a daily basis - from the food they eat, to the air they breathe, to the water they drink, to the environmental pollutants and toxins they absorb, to the thoughts they think.We know that parents are a child’s biggest advocate and we respect each family’s desire to choose what they believe is best for their children. We believe in educating patients and families to promote healthy lifestyles and unnecessary medication use, and will never coerce or bully parents into doing something they are uncomfortable with. Unfortunately, most medical offices are too overbooked to take the necessary time to develop a personalized plan of care for each patient.
