I’m a PNP who has had a sole focus on Dev/Beh peds for 12 years. I’ve shifted away from many medicines that cause serious side effects and am moving towards more functional medicine approaches. The demand is high and I want to learn more to support the direction of my practice. I work with a functional medicine provider.

• CBT and Trauma Familt Therapy training
• Comprehensive evaluations identifying root causes rather than just symptoms.
• Diagnosis of PANDAS several times
• Evaluation of thyroid function, gut health and sleep is standard. Addressing these areas is essential.
• Autonomic dysregulation such as POTS mimics features of anxiety but is best treated with hydration
• Hydration with vitamin rich C, B and magnesium have helped many of my patients

• Anxiety, depression, adhd, autism, FASD symptoms, trauma and ptsd, PANS, POTS, PANDAS and ODD (though I consider that diagnosis a symptom of something greater many providers can’t identify)
• Early diagnosis of ASD / certified with STAT and CARS2. Best results with early intervention with diet, therapy and parental skill building.
