With over 20 years of experience in regenerative medicine, Tapley Holland identified a key limitation in the field: biologic therapies were often applied using uniform approaches despite substantial patient variability. This observation led to the development of TruDOSE™, an individualized framework designed to characterize and standardize platelet dosing based on patient-specific biologic response.
The TruDOSE™ platform has been applied in thousands of clinical treatments across diverse indications, generating real-world observational data on platelet dosing behavior and systemic response patterns. Beginning in 2018, this work contributed to the publication “Platelets as Endogenous Cellular Adaptogens: A Review of Stress Signaling and Regenerative Implications” and informed the development of systemic platelet-based therapy (TruDOSE IV platelet therapy).
